Prodigios Interactivos SA is a Spanish Company founded in 2. 000 to be a supplier of low cost Internet Access HW solutions. After the initial launch in Spain, with more than 100. 000 customers captured in 2001 and 2002, started its international sales aimed to sell the same product (the Intel Dot Station Solution) in countries with low Internet penetration rate and segments of population wishing to access the Internet with low cost solutions. The main users so far are: Customers at home as a low cost 2nd PC, Educational entities and schools, Libraries and Internet Access Points, Driving Schools and Academies to run Tests and Courses, ISP's and Cable operators offering the PC in promotional campaigns to capture subscribers, Call Center and Ciber cafes that don't require high cost / performance HW, and in general terms, any user benefiting from Internet Access (Including Broadband) or wishing to have one, that will use the HW mostly for Internet Navigation or downloading, email, IM, Chats, VOIP, or run simple SW applications.
